This one of a kind Altar Plate is made from locally sourced natural oak. This piece has been hand carved with the Nordic Elder Futhark Rune Berkana. The rune has been Painted red using acrylic paint and the entire piece has been sealed with lin seed oil to protect the paint and the wood.

Berkana, meaning Birch represents growth, preparation, and renewal. 

Altar plates or tiles are often symbolic and representational of an ancient tradition, other times they are used as a place to place offerings to the deity of the practitioner.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind.

This piece is roughly 4.5" by 4" and just slightly more than 0.5" thick.
